LeT condemns beating, arrest of students of Degree College Baramulla

‘It is the democratic right of every human being to protest’

Srinagar, Apr 15: Mahmood Shah, Chief Lashkar-e-Taiba, has strongly condemned the violent beating and arrest of students of Degree College in Baramulla and said that it is the democratic right of every human being to protest. Today every man, woman, young and child is protesting Indian occupation.

In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah condemned the raids on student’s homes and warned the police personnel to abstain from heinous crimes which is not good for their health.

Mahmood Shah addressed Mehbooba Mufti to take immediate and proactive measures for the release of arrested students. He demanded to the leadership of Hurriyat Conference for arranging a visit to the affected areas so as to witness the enormity of police on public and said that the move will console the affected families.

Mahmood Shah said that the public will continue to demonstrate such protests until the illegal Indian occupation has ended. The Mujahideen will continue to counter terrorist forces until Jammu Kashmir has witnessed its freedom. (KNS)
