Handing body of slain after a month worst HR violation: Muslim League

Srinagar, July 13: Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir has termed it “worst form of human rights violation” the handing over the body of slain Nisar Ahmad Bhat to his family members after a month. Nisar was killed in a gunfight in north Kashmir’s Kupwara area.

A spokesperson of the League Sajad Ayobi in a statement issued to GNS said that party’s general secretary Mohd Rafiq Ganaie led a delegation comprising Ghulam Mohammad and Fayaz Ahmad to Krad Shangus area of Anantnag and participated in the funeral of Nisar Ahmad Bhat. They extended heartfelt condolence to the family members.

Ganaie also demanded immediate return of body of Mudasir Ahmad Bhat of Barzulla Srinagar. (GNS)
